around about 150bhpish , i have £1000 to spend. but im not gonna do an engine conversion too much hasle.

How is your mechanical skills ??? because you can do the internals or build your own turbo steup (alot cheaper than buying a turbo kit)

header= exhaust extractor, or whatever you guys call that stuff over there.

I disagree with everyone above about modifying your engine. Its a lost cause.

The only thing you should do with that engine, unless you want to turbocharge it, is pull it out in favor of a B series engine.

The VTI engine is probabaly not too hard to come by over there is it? Try and find one and just throw it in

yeah but thats the prob if i do get a 1.6 vti engine what do i have to change i know i have to change the gearbox, clutch , but what else? also my car is an a 1.5 so aint i gonna loose some hp from 1.5 fuel system ?
