Default Engine swap, two problems

Just recently swapped out my D15B7 in for the JDM D16A VTEC. Overall the swap went pretty smooth, one motor mount was different, and she's now throwin a code 19 (Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve). The funny thing is I have the manual 5 speed bolted up to the engine. Is it possible that I was given an automatic ecu with this swap? Also at idle, she will rev between 800 and 1200 rpms when warm. Any input will help me out.

BTW,
The D16A is very impressive compared to what I had. When VTEC engages, I can hear and feel the difference. Very good buy if someone is interested in upgrading their non-VTEC car.

May sound stupid on my part, but was your car always a manual? It sounds like you have a matic ecu if it's throwing a matic code. And what do you mean by revs between 800 and 1200, is it like an eradic jumping? That's a common problem.

It was always a manual. The new engine has the original tranny bolted on. To be more specific, when she's cold and starts up and begins to warm, the engine will start to rev UP AND DOWN between 1000 and 1400 rpms or so. It will continue to rev up and down until it warms up a tad more, where it seems to idle just fine at about 800 rpm. After driving for a bit, and coming to a stop light or sign, it will rev up and down again between 800 and 1200 or so rpm. At first I thought maybe it was just the idle air control valve, but with it throwing a code 19, I kinda figured that maybe I was sold an automatic ecu, which by the way is a P91.

Do some research, there is such a thing as a D16A (clearly stamped on the block), kind of a rare engine though. Pretty much the same thing as a sohc zc with vtec. It was bought from Japan Direct in Raleigh. From what I found it comes out of the 4WD Civic Feiro (or however you spell it) from Japan. After driving it for a couple days, I must say that I am very impressed with it, compared to what I had. When VTEC engages, it's felt, and heard.

Yeah that's my ECU. And yes the D16A would be a 1.6 obd1. But I don't think that is what my question was about.

Thank I appreciate it. I did some more research here and found a post about auto ECU's in manual setups, and I seem to have the same symptoms. I'm just gonna see if I can swap ECU's where I bought the motor. I found a thread on converting these ECU's to manual setups but I'm I think it will be a lot easier to just go back a give a trade.
