You bet I will, too bad you aren't near Raleigh I'd let you take it for a drive. I'm about to run to work for now, and then off to Greensboro to party...but when I come back home tomorrow I will def upload the pics not only of the stamp and solenoid, but of the engine swap itself :-)

i thought old teg engines were D16Ax as well :thinking:

yea i thought all honda engines had 5 digits :thinking:

EDIT: how bout a pic so we can see the vtec solenoids (or valve cover) and the engine code stamp together?

actually, most (if not all) JDM motors lack the letter at the end. (my B16A for instance, just says B16A). I was just commenting that I had in fact heard of D16A motors before.

I had the same code 19 problem and my ECU was in fact an auto P28, I just removed the resistor from the ECU, no- more code 19...

so its the OBD2 version of the JDM sohc vtec motor?

edit: nevermind i forgot to notice the IM. its OBD1.

I don't see the selenoid unless thats it peaking from the vaccum hose.
