Ok I have both in my car.. for the volt gage two wires are for the light in it?? If so the white wire goes to your gauge lights, and the black to a ground. the other two wires are pos and neg. the oil pressure should only have two unless it is electronic then I am no help and it would be for the lights too

fast and furious gauges.......neat.......

You have 4 wires because 2 are for lighting, 2 are for signal.
See here: http://www.42draftdesigns.com/instal.../voltmeter.pdf

Oil pressure, you need to run the super hot oil into the car, to the gauge, for a reading. You do this by running a line from the oil pressure hole off the back of the block, to a T, which the stock unit connects to and the other side goes to the gauge for a reading.
See here: http://www.autometer.com/download_instruction/247e.pdf

Id take them both back and get something better, more accurate, safer, electrical with sender
