JDM climate control?

Default JDM climate control?

I just got my JDM climate control today and the back is different than my stock one. I was just wondering if i have to switch the backs. Help needed thanks.

there is quite a lot involved actually. You might have trouble making it work.

I was under the impression that most people simply swapped the bulbs and front plates for the JDM units? It looks like lights up like a JDM unit but the guts and functionality are still USDM. Can't say for sure, I've never bothered with one myself but that's what I've heard.

Just finished. it ia a bitch though. I'm just wondering if i have to do anything to the JDM cluster or do the stock plugs fit into the back of the JDM cluster.

thats probably the way to go. I've read a writeup on switching the entire thing and it looked difficult, and it was also pointless as the controls were away from you now

If you have a mechanical climate control found in the US spec Civics, it will not work with the electronic climate control found in the japanese spec civics. Basically people use the face only to get the "jdm" look.

To switch over everything, you'll need all the wiring and pieces that require you to remove your dash to make it all work.

Ya i got it i just switched the face, bulbs but looks good and clean.
