Help installing gauges

I want to hook up a Tach and Volt guage but which wires do I tap into and where are they located. I have an 01CivicDX.

read the instructions, there should be four or so wires. PWR, GRND, tach signal wire(distributer or ignition), and an accessary light wire

is there a tach signal wire in the guage wire harness thats already there??

yes the plugs that plug into the back of your gauge cluster will have the wire that you need. Its up to you to look in the factory wiring diagrams to figure out which color wire is the correct one
