Default Engine info needed on D16A

Japan Direct here in Raleigh is selling a D16A engine that I want to get for my swap. I tried to research this engine but I haven't been able to find much. From looking at it, it looks just like a D16Z6. It's a SOHC VTEC, but clearly stamped on the block is the code D16A. Just wondering if anyone out there knew anything about this engine. I found a page that claimed the motor comes from a Civic Ferio (4 Door). Anything you can tell me would be great. There really isn't much out there about this. I currently have a D15B7 so hopefully it will be a very easy swap.

I have a 93 Civic DX.

The engine kit includes the longblock with tranny. Looks like everything is attached to the engine (distributor, intake manifold, etc) however like most of the imported swaps, the wire harness looks like it was chopped up.

I've heard of this engine before, supposedly just a d16z6 with different block stamping and the d15b vtec cam. I say use it, its not gonna hurt anything.

Shit maybe you can get it and tell us about it. maybe it shares the same block as the d16a6 but with a vtec head, like a factory mini-me type swap lol
