I have never heard of a cel from a high flow cat. I had it on my last car and never threw a cel. However my friend had a high flow and switch to a test pipe and thats when the cel came on.
And when it comes to tuning it can I do it myself?
nope you have to have a shop do it with a dyno, and make sure they are a good qualified shop because if improperly tuned it will mess your motor up major. when you get it you wont have a clue what any of the settings mean and you have to have it dynoed so they can tune for optimum safe horse power.
dont know where you live but where i live it was 150$ to get it installed then 150$ to get it dyno tuned thats about 1.5-2hrs dyno time where i live. but remember if you ever get a turbo like i have now the only use it will have is to change your vtec engagement point. once you get a turbo or put cams in youll want a piggyback system like a hondata, crome, uberdata, emanage ect.
