Bleach will eat away at the rubber on your tires. I wouldn't suggest doing that. I work for a pharamceutical company and use bleach to kill viruses and fungi. You should see what it does to metals.

Meguiars has great products. Just be careful when using the wheel cleaner, either use watered down, or don't let it sit on the wheel too long. My friend sprayed it on his M5 wheels and they stained the wheels. Again, SOAP AND WATER is best.

scrubbing bubbles w/ bleach or fantastic w/ bleach is not harsh on anything but upholstery. use it a bit dilluted, but if you **** anything up SC Johnson will front for you, they will replace any damages you do to your vehicle if you simply follow the instructions.

trust me, i used to work for them. yeah, thats right suckers! Ive seen them replace an entire house of siding, entire car upholstery, millions to some idiot who blew up her bathroom

btw, this is all confidential, so shhhhh h:

btw, where the **** are my logos :wtc:

Just curious, aren't silver wheels also considered "painted"?

If they are alloys like the GSR wheels, no I dont think so...but there is a clear coat over it...so technically yeah...it is painted.

Konig/Rota silver is painted. Basically anything you see around the lug area that gets stripped is usually a painted wheel.

Not a lot of [aftermarket] wheels have the "machined" look like the GSR's or the Si's. But I just wanted to give him a hard time.
