Its simple if your wheel is painted, white, black, bronze, pink or gunmetal. Treat it like you would your car paint. Car wash soap, water, Meguiars wheel cleaner, or Meguiars Quick Detailer is the only thing you should use.
Meguiars has great products. Just be careful when using the wheel cleaner, either use watered down, or don't let it sit on the wheel too long. My friend sprayed it on his M5 wheels and they stained the wheels. Again, SOAP AND WATER is best.
