Default Scared Of D

like you all have probably seen in my postings im going to be running a greddy si kit once i get it put on, i would like to run 10 psi but im scared of detination, since im only going to be running 10psi i dont want to lower the compression ratio but know the factory pistons at 10 psi wont cut it to long, would thier be any problem with running a factor spec set of forged pistons, the same compression ratio bore and stroke on 10psi and would they withstand the detination?

You cannot run 10 psi on the 310cc injectors. You will need a new method of tuning and larger injectors before you think about upping the boost.

Once you get that, it is all in the tuning. I am running 10 psi on my stock motor, but I have the appropriate fuel and tuning equipment.

yea your not gonna want to run 10 with the stock greddy kit. Upgrade to 450cc injectors and ditch that POS emanage for decent fuel management like uberdata or crome

What psi are you running now? The 310's will be sufficient up to around 8.5 psi, where they will be maxed out unless you adjust the fuel pressure and get some sort of better engine management.
