oil pan problem
I changed my oil pan gasket a few months ago, tried to use a torque wrench to torque 8.7lbs (keep in mind i used 2 different torque wrenches), but the bolt kept turning and i opted to hand tighten everything in the corect bolting pattern. Found out that i was leaking through most of the bolts, took it off 2 months ago, and put some ultra black sealant and redid the oil pan. hand tight once again. Im still leaking oil through the pan gasket. Its not much of a leak but you can see the oil residue comming off the side.
I have a new gasket, planning to use the ultra black sealant, and cleaning off the surfaces that meet with some type of degreaser. Any suggestions for bolting the sucker back on?

My suggestion is to not believe the torque wrench. If the bolts seem tight, leave it at that.
Also, if the bolts are coming loose, consider lock tite (not the kind that welds forever, but the kind you can break free)
