That is the Air temp sensor. It will throw a check engine code 10. The wires that connect are usually green/wht and red/yellow, I think. Since the harness is chopped who knows? To pull the codes check under the glove box on the right side by the door for a two wire plug. Use a paper clip or wire to jump the two wires together. Then turn the key on and count the blinks of the check engine light. Long bink is first digit short blinks for the second digit. If there are only short blinks the code is only one digit long. Each failure code is separated by a 1-2 second pause.

Ok then my next question would be how do I tell if its OBD I or II. My other question is what other cars/ motors can i get that plug off of? there is a pick and pull up here at school and im gonna run down there and see if they have any integras, but if they don't what other models can it be found on.

Ok Im now home from college and got to look at this thing myself. I pulled 2 codes.... I pulled a 50 which as far as i can tell doesn't exist, Though I wonder if its acctually a 41 and im just dumb. I also pulled a 54, How do I check the Crank sensor to tell if its bad? The other thing is I didn't pull up a code 10 for the IAT which I know is completely disconected, any ideas guys?

I bet the b18b was obd1 and they don't have crank sensors I think...

but your ecu is for the obd2 b18bs which means it'll look for the crank sensor.

Ok im gonna crawl under it this morning and see, if its an older block is it possible to hook up a Crank Sensor in order to get rid of that light? And the other code is a 41 which would be the O2 sensor heater so i gotta get under there and see what that all looks like.

Update,

I found where the IAT is hooked up, the dummies put it on the underside of the CAI down by the filter. Also found the problem with the primary O2 sensor, all the wires are cut and found the harness wires taped and tucked on the fire wall harness. these guys must of been real professionals :P. I also have located 6 other terminated wires and have been hunting them down through different manuals because some of the harness is integra other parts of the harness are civic, this whole wire coding thing is gonna drive me nuts. Now im going to tear down the front of the motor and see what I gotta do for the crank sensor. If anyone knows if it is possible to add a crank sensor if the motor did not origonally come equiped with it please let me know because I have this strange feeling that the motor is an OBD I even though it is hooked up for OBD II. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can get the oil pump or something like that from an obd2 for the crank sensor to work.

but honestly, just spend your damn money on an obd1 conversion harness and a obd1 p75 or a chipped p06.

That way you don't have to worry about these gay ass codes later on.
