Default B18B questions

I getting a B18B put in my new project (93 CX), and I want to source all of the parts. Right now this is all I can think of for parts.

1. Engine
2. Transmission
3. ECU
4. Linkages
5. Axles
6. Mounts

These are the following parts I need to replace:

1. Timing Belt
2. Head Gasket
3. Hoses, fluids
4. Spark Plugs, Wires
5. Cap & rotor
6. Radiator
7. Clutch

I'm not installing the engine myself. I would do it myself, but I don't have the time. I just want to make sure this is everything I need. Is there anything else? The engine I found is 96, I want to keep it OBD I, so do I need to just buy a OBD I ECU or do I need to just keep it OBD II? Thanks

You don't need mounts...drops right in.....

Skunk2 makes a harness to keep the engine obd1....just plugs right in....

or you can get an obd1 ecu and distributor and injectors and your set....

I'd just keep the car obd2 rewire the thing....might be easier...and cheaper...

If I get the Skunk2 harness, do I have to get an OBDI ECU, or do can I keep the OBD II ECU?

You will likely need the mounts, I have never seen an engine come with all the mounts attached unless you specifically ask for them. You will also need the exhaust to cat "O" Ring, oil for the tranny, oil for the motor, oil filter, coolant, thermostat, valve cover gasket, cam oil seal, crank oil seal, axle oil seals, brake fluid, power steering fluid (maybe), oil drain plug (if you are smart), spring pin for shifter to tranny connection (do not re-use the old one), and RTV sealant for the water pump. I'll let you know if I forgot anything. Oh, and why are you replacing the head gasket? If you do, you will also need a exhaust manifold gasket and maybe an intake manifold gasket, scraper, and some gasket remover because the intake manifold gasket is a ***** to remove. and then you will need to replace the oil seal on the distributer too.
