K20a R swap, what else to get?
the problem is now he has already made the mistake of buying the car. now it's just a waste for him tosell it. though if i were given these two things i'd sell the car and buy a new TL or something. something that is worth the money
srt4 is a neon for idiots that dont know how to modify a car, so they buy one that is already done for them.
or, keep the civic as a daily, and spend time on building a new toy. i forgot to throw in the M3, bad ass car!!! itb i6, hella sweet car and damn near perfect balance. must of taken 10 lil krauts to fit the motor in the car

for the price of a brand new SRT-4 with all the options out the door = $21,995. M3 brand new out the door with all the options = $67,295.
SRT-4 is built for boost. Upgrading, etc, is relatively cheap compared to trying to mod an M3.
For what you get with the SRT-4, it is well worth $21,995 !!!

it's quite sad to see people judge a car before they drive it. the SRT-4 is fast, agile, and upgradeable.
their claimed numbers at the crank are basically what it puts to the ground.
the only thing bad about the SRT-4 is the general quality of the parts is way down, but in the M3's price range you have many other capable cars that are faster, more agile, and look nicer, and have about the same build quality.
i have driven both. My buddy has a 2004 M3 and another one has a red SRT-4. I would chose the SRT-4 for the money ANYDAY !!! The ride is quite comfortable (tokico blues -- stock) and the 2.4L engine seems to able to handle 20lbs. of boost with no problem.
ok, well you guys just took this thread to the next level.....yea i got some money to spend, why not get another car.....cuz i just got this one 3 months ago. if i had money like that i would def. get an M3, thats my fav car, i got a thing for BMW's they the best personally. as for anything else, i love the WRX's as well, yea i can sell this car, with the other money buy a WRX, or put a nice DP on an 2005 STI(which drive fuckin hard!!, loved it, had one for a weekend). i like honda, my car looks nice as shit, i'll put up some pics if i figure out how to use this site, also i just put rims on the car 3 weeks ago, so im not just gonna sell it and make a loss. a K20 will hall ass on the car. oh yea and the SRT-4, that car had potential, and drive hard, probably the best bang for the buck, but that shit is still a neon, i don't know about yous but neon's are fuckin gay, they blow. i drivin the SRT-4, i was impressed and like it(the way it drove) but deep down, its still a fuckin neon, so i'll pass on that. a TL would be the shit, but i ain't a baller like that, thats why i drive a civic, if i could have i would have gotten an RSX type S. whatever peoples, thats that, thanks for all the input and if yous want to keep up the argument, keep it goin! thanks all
dont even try to mod the car unless you are a baller. the time and money it will take, not only to put the engine in your car, but to get it running right, would be more than you can afford.
beyond that you will be left with a car that can't handle well and that is slower than the vehicle the engine comes from (the new civics are PIGS, theres nothing to gain by puting integra engines into civics anymore, ofr th emoney, just buy an RSX)
not to mention it will kill the resale value so much.
by buying a type-s you will gian basically the same car you'd get out of this + better handling + a warantee and support from honda. if you do what you are planning i'm telling you now IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! you will be WASTING MONEY LIKE CRAZY.
your best option is to stick with the car you have and then save the money in the bank in a CD or something until you ihave soemthing to spend it on.
and for the record:
the srt4 is not a neon deep down, it's an SRT-4 deep down, and a neon on top.
it was pretty much rebuilt from the ground up.
