*found this at a shop that is right over the border in NH (no tax) only thing it dosnt have is rods (ill just call them to see of they would give me a break on price if i throw some in) this look like a good deal? im new to engine tech so so any time saved on finding parts from a parts list will be used in the extremely slow pace i will be working at..
Looks like a clean build, except it's either Eagle H-Beams or Pauter rods for me along w/ nothing but Honda OEM Bearings for everything. Thats just me

nothing wrong with blockgaurds. the peopel that say they dotn work are huge supporters of sleeving a block and think its the onyl way to go. If u look at a golden eagle sleeve compared to one of there block gaurds for example, you would think a sleeved block would over heat first. Now, if the gaurd for some odd reason happens to sink to the bottom of the sleeve, you may have some problems. But, if it is done properly, block gaurds can be a big help. Or, you can use a block filler. Some say this method is very ghetto, but, ti works. what you do is fill the block with devcon liquid aluminum

I agree with you on this.

I had the exact same feelings.
