Default Possibly changing suspension...

Alright, right now i have omnipower full street coilovers. and to me, they are too harsh. so im looking at some different setups. i found some used tein ss type coilovers for sale. hows the ride with those compare to others? im also looking for other suggestions as well, doesnt have to be just coilovers. id like to look at all my other options, i basically dont want as much of a harsh ride.

This thread is going to be huge. I know it. But uh, I like my KYB's and neuspeed sports. It's a comfy ride.

Coilovers will always be a bit more harsh than lowering springs. If you want something softer I would just get lowering springs with Tokico Illuminas.

I have Suspension Techniques w/ stock shocks, about to get koni Yellows to mate up with them. So far, comfy ride for about 8 months suprisingly.

I just yesterday put Neuspeeds Sports and Tokico Illuminas on my EX. It sits a lot lower than I thought it would (supposed to be 1.5 drop in front and 1.75 in back), but so far the ride is nice. I have a lot of playing to do with the shock adjustments, but so far so good.

You'll find the Koni Yellows are stiff. The softest settings on the Konis are the hardest settings on the Tokico Illuminas.

i have the omni's too and i think the ride is perfect. its stiff but not like a rock. i dont even find it that much different over stock other than the lower stance.

Alright, so with springs/shocks, basically any spring that has the desired drop i want with tokico illuminas?

anyone riding on the tein ss type coilovers?

also, ive got 16" rims right now with 205/45... would this be a big contributor to the harsh ride?
