You dont HAVE to go with just the Tokico Illuminas. As stated above, Koni Yellows are great, no matter what is said...everyone has their 'opinion.'

However, coilovers will suck on your civic. They ride harsh as shit, stick w/ lowering springs and either Illuminas or Yellows IMO.

This may be a little off topic, but I recently installed my KYB AGX and H&R Sport springs on my 99 Hatchback. I thought it was going to give a moderate lowering from stock (1.75F, 1.5R). The car is now too low for my taste. I rub on turns and bottom out on speed bumps. Is this normal on a 1.75 drop? I have a few solutions to the problem 1. Rolling the fenders 2. buying new springs (though I really cant find many that only lower the car about an inch) 3. Replacing with stocks (last resort). Any Suggestions?

You could possibly have blown shocks resulting in your car's stance to be lower than it should be w/ that type of drop. Did you cut your bumpstops or do anything abnormal maybe? That really seems abnormal to be rubbing on a 1.75" drop, considering I have a 2.3" drop and im completely fine.

EDIT: This response was pertaining to KUTTINEDGE

The rubbing is usually from improper wheel offset, wheel widths and wrong tire widths.

Agreed. When I switched back to my Si rims (I believe I was lowered about 2.25") my car stopped rubbing since my other rims had a 40mm offset with a wider tire.

Coilover systems or Shocks n' Springs? Eibach and Koni's or um Tein Coilovers? I want my car to drive like a BMW... smooth yet handle like it's on rails.

H&R OE Sports. ~20% stiffer than stock with only a 0.75" drop front and 0.50" drop rear. Great for the street.
