Default Out of curiousity...???

I have a catco high flow cat with a new oxygen sensor strapped outside of the cat with the old one pluging the cat,i was wondering if this was ok and if it woulc causemine engine to run boggy and stuff,ya know typical bad oxygen sensor stuff???the new one is hooked up outside becasue the ECU would throw a CEL cause of the higher flow!it is a 2000 civic EX

*P.S. when my gas tank goes close to empty,it seems like it is harder on my car to turn over, could this be something crapping out, like the FPR, fuel pump, or starter?

what type of fpr ??? certain ones seem to do this, my b&m died after several months and started bogging down at low gas levels. what psi are you running at ??? fuel pump, i don't believe, and it is definately not the starter.

as for the oxygen sensor, i have **NO** idea. test it both ways and see what happens

running boost....the best i have seen or heard is probably the b&m command flo fpr. that is the new one i have and it works great. What about your fuel pump ? is it stock or aftermarket ? you might want to upgrade to a Walbro 255 if you are boosting with a b&m fpr, new fuel rail and injectors and you are good to go !!!

you might as well go with entire tune up as well, plugs and wires, check the coils on the dizzy, replace cap and rotor if need be, etc...
