sup, wel my friend is selling a y8 head with intake mani... problem is he blew the head gasket.. so i was wondering would the head still be good even the head gasket is blown... LMK thanks...

 

also if i do a mini-me do i need a sohc vtec ecu or can i just use a vtec controller??

 

if there is no porblems with the block i don't see why u wouldn't be about to keep it. make sure u change all the gaskets when swaping. also you do need the ecu that can run correctly with the vtec head. you can not just use the vtec controller with out changing the ecu.
