CPT = compton? cali is real strict about mods, if it isn't C.A.R.B. legal with a sticker, good luck. :happysad:

if cpt is compton and you're in socal, both your intake and header need to have c.a.r.b. certification for it to be legal. exhaust systems do not need carb certification.. rather they go by sound levels. maximum db permitted to be legal is 95 db.

you'll need a sound meter.. i had one, but a friend borrowed it and that was the end of it..

you'll need to measure idle at 1 ft. away? i don't remember the exact procedure.. then you'll need to measure at 15 ft. away at 1500 rpm and 3000 rpm.. ehh.. i think that's it.. it's been a while.. so if anyone else knows the exact details, post up.. you'll need to record these numbers because cops do not carry sound meters with them.. they basically go by an unspoken rule that if it's modified, it's illegal.. so you have to prove to him that it's not.
