How do i tell if i have a b16a1 or a2?
seein as how you may have an sir, or sir-II b16a, heres somethings you can check for:
-SiR II has a hydro tranny, not a cable.
-SiR II has a single- 4-wire O2 sensor instead of 2-single wire O2 sensors.
-SiR II's MAP sensor is internal (on the throttle body), not an external one with a tube.
-SiR II harnesses are grey. SiR has cream colored ones.
-SiR II are MPFI, whereas SiR's are PGM-FI (as labelled on the Intake Manifold)
-SiR valve covers have "DOHC" written in a larger font size than "VTEC"
