Could be the contacts on the starter. I had that problem with my own car. Sounds like the starter is trying to turn over, but just never gets there.

Clean the terminals on your battery with sandpaper.

I did everything everybody said. I tested the volts from the battery, they were good, I tried doing the jumping to the wires and not the battery, it started, I tried pressing the switch and not the clutch, nothing happend, I tested the starter its good, I didn't test my distributor because the cap and rotor are under a month old, the coil is good because the car runs perfectly once I get a pop start, and the ignitor amplifier tested good. I cleaned the terminals with sand paper and the rings that connect to the terminals and it starts strong every time. I have a feeling that the last two weeks of straight rain might have gotten some corosion on the battery causing it to act shitily.

All I can do now is see how long the good starts last.

I really do need a new starter though. What's a good brand? Or should I just keep my OEM honda part trend going?

just get OEM one there a little pricey though

i got a re-maned one from autozone, i think it was 120 with a lifetime warrentee.

i was loking at ours at advance auto and they look pretty nice with a lifetime warranty. i have asked people if they like the starter they bought from us and all of them said it works perfectly fine.
