Default throttle body ?

i see alot of people on here saying to get a GSR throttle body and a aftermarket intake manifold (JG or skunk 2) for a b16. so my question is what is better about the GSR throttle body compared to an aftermarket one? i was going to go with a skunk2 throttle body and intake mainfold but if it's better to go with GSR i will.

I know what you mean, i was one of those people telling you to go along with a GSR throttle body. Its not so much that they are better, they are also a lot cheaper. I have a friend who has one on a JG IM and is making 400+whp on a D-series. Im not at all saying thats the reason behind it, just saying that is a part of his setup.

be careful where you will be getting the GSR throttle body, i have the same setup as you and in my preference, i would stick with the stock or go JG or skunk2. Just my preference.

because unless you are built, you arent gonna see dick for gains with the skunk2 TB...for the money I would just save up and get ITB if you plan on doing anything worth a damn to the motor if your plans are N/A...if you plan on going turbo...again dont waste your money.....a Huge Skunk2 throttle body if you go turbo should be last on your list to squeez out a few extra ponies.

That or stock. A TB isn't as important for just a turbo'd car unless you want to squeeze the last bit out hp out of it. Just read the post above yours. Keep the stock or get a GSR.
