Just pop the motor in and it should fit with the stock engine mounts. You might have to change the tranny mounts, but hasport makes them for about 100.

this is incorrect.

The b16a will only work with a B series motor mount kit in a 1990 civic. There are no OEM mounts that will allow it to bolt in correctly.

THere are also NO b16a1's ever produced in America or Japan. There is a rumor of one from europe but it's rare and I've never seen it or heard of anybody having it.

YOu want to get a first generation b16a. Try to get one as a complete swap. YOu'll need axles, ecu, wiring harness, complete engine, complete transmission, shift linkage, and custom mounts such as those made by hasport. You will have to do a few wiring mods, and if you have a dx hatchback and not an SI you will have to conver to multipoint fuel injection.

There is a lot more too it than you think. Search around the hybrid forum. It has all been covered at some point or another

My bad well you live and learn. At least I got the hasport right. lolz. I just thought since a b16a2 would just slide in my honda del sol using the OEM mounts that came with the car would work, but thats for that info.
