this is incorrect.

The b16a will only work with a B series motor mount kit in a 1990 civic. There are no OEM mounts that will allow it to bolt in correctly.

THere are also NO b16a1's ever produced in America or Japan. There is a rumor of one from europe but it's rare and I've never seen it or heard of anybody having it.

YOu want to get a first generation b16a. Try to get one as a complete swap. YOu'll need axles, ecu, wiring harness, complete engine, complete transmission, shift linkage, and custom mounts such as those made by hasport. You will have to do a few wiring mods, and if you have a dx hatchback and not an SI you will have to conver to multipoint fuel injection.
