gauge cluster lighting

Default gauge cluster lighting

i was just wondering if it were possible to change the lights behind the gauge cluster and heat settings. i havent really tried yet and i have a feeling you can. Iif you can, is it hard and where can you buy bulbs? thanx

i did it. my climate control is all amberish red, my cluster is amber lit thru my white face gauges with red numbers, so is every thing else includin my wannabe jdm clock. i used red bulb condoms, avaialbe thru partsexpress.com

I think most automotive stores sells the color condoms, I actually took off my blue ones when I had white faces.... I tried it years ago without the blue condoms, and the color was really gross looking (to my taste) I'll post a pic of it when I get home. If anything, try taking off the condom that's on the bulb, and use a red sharpie (or whatever color floats your boat).

now I am thinking about taking out the bulbs entirely because they really shine out the reverese gauges I put in.

ok thanx alot. does everything just pull off of the dash? and then i just put the bulb condoms on and put it back together?

umm ok two questions.. my stock bulbs in the back have a blue condom... WHY???

and do they make any reverse gauges that the gauges are black.. not white

the blue condoms r there to emit the whiteist blue light in ur dash. what my friend did in his 00 ex sedan, we took out all the blue condoms, now his interior glows amber. very nice lookin. dunno bout reverse gauges.

Ok... you want to take off the blue color from your stock black face gauges, but you want to get reverse gauges that light up blue with a black face?
