i took off the blue condoms in my guage cluster and slapped on some of those pilot white face guages. still looks like azz :P im just gonnna wait for the day taht reverse indiglows come with black markings that light up blue during at night. hell, i woulndt even mind black faces with white markings that light up blue at night, a la VW

 

we are waiting for the EXACT same thing.. and i actauly find it hard to believe that it isn't already out there somewhere.. reverse indiglo at night imo looks VERY good, BUT the daytime looks SO ASS...

Hmm, you mean like mine?
I custom mod'ed my reverese indiglo's to actually light up BLUE, rather than a faint greenish.

The camera didn't duplicate the color as well, but they light up exactly like VW style. I just need to take out those stock bulbs because they give my gauges that 'halo' effect :eh:

 

my guages look exactly like that.... except on of my bulbs burned out.... good think i still have my stock cluster.....

So just pull out cluster and take off the blue condom thing to get amber color? Or do you put like a yellow condom thing?

 

i agree fully.. and i find it so hard to believe that they do not make black faced reverse indiglos... or at least whites with black markings.. it doesn't seem all that complicated..

 

Actually, I think the markings are not blue during the day.

 

I think it has to do with the demand... most people want to UPGRADE from the black face :dunno:

 

maxb: i just noticed that you still have the auto gear indicator time to get some new guages man are u sure the markings arent blue and red during the day? all the reverse ones ive see (with normal fonts) are like that.
