It does, well for the most part. Up there towards the top I posted that when I'm going slow, like rev matching it works fine for the most part. Less than half the time it still pops in.

But the whole clutch thing was one of those things I've been wanting to do for a while, and now I guess I have an excuse.

i bet it's your linkage... especially since it got bent. is the shifter hard to move around in between gears and in neutral or is it just hard to put into gear. i ask this because the linkage may be binding against the exhaust or heatshield. when the car is moving the motor will torque forward which changes the position of the linkage slightly.. which may explain why your shifter is difficult to move while at speed. also make sure that you're not overfilling your transmission.. . i have a feeling you're not checking the level correctly.

My car was doing the same exact thing when part of the clutch disk melted off and got stuck in between the pressure plate and clutch disk.

Just hard to put in gear, it moves around fine. But now that's the least of my worries. I'm really tired of putting all this money and effort into my car and getting nothing out of it.
