You should put some solid red tails on it.

Good post, I can totally relate to your car feelings as I went through the same thing earlier this year.

For you IS300, I think some of the "smoked" Lamin-X film ( http://www.lamin-x.com/ ) would look pretty sweet on your front and rear lights, plus it would protect them.

Hey Westcoaststyle,
You had a nice civic there, and I remember when it was all riced out.
But it always feels nice when you get a new car. Me and my girlfriend both felt the same way about our civics and how it was time to move on. My girl traded her civic for an IS as well, but in white.
She had to wait almost 2 months for hers, because she wanted white w/ a black interior and navi. Oh, this jsut reminded me of when we were looking around for her car, and one dealership had a white one with black interior, but no navi. The salesman was a joke, and tried to convince her the Lexus' navigation sucked and that she shouldn't get it because she would lose one of her cupholders. We immediately walked out.
Anyways, it's a great car with great stock suspension. I drive her car sometimes, but one thing that I really don't like, is how the shifters are on the steering wheel, and how you can only go down to 2nd gear.
As for myself, I was lucky and I didn't have to sell my civic to get my dream car, a 2000 CLK430 . Although I should since I haven't driven it in about 6 months. Anyways, congrats, and have fun with your new ride.

One mod that I would do to the IS, is to get the black chrome emblems. They would look sick on your color.

How's your build going anyway? I hadn't heard anything about it lately. Is it running yet?

Build is done and running. Just breaking it in and tuning. I am having some overheating problems due to massive intercooler blocking airflow to the radiator. Other than that, it is running strong.

It's kinduv silly to have a clutch reservoir if it doesn't have a clutch pedal.

Something tells me I'm missing a good inside joke in there somewhere.
