THe new car is beautiful. My friend as the exact car, color and everything, but he's boosting 12psi trust me, you want to boost it with a quick spooling turbo, it'll makes that car actually pull really good
that would of coarse void his warrenty entirly

Good Lord, Josh... in 6 short years, your civic got more time on jackstands than some of my garage-queen DSM buddies. I sold my civic and nobody's told me to go away yet, so don't be a stranger. It's always been fun talking shop with you, and you know you're not going to stop.

Man, that IS300 is going to be SICK when it's boosted. :chuckles:

Edit: Oh yeah... your Civic always impressed me. I might have been a tad quicker in the 1/4, but I'm a LoOoOoNg way off from a dyno slip that looks anything like your$. You earned my respect.

i'm really sad to see this post, i'm glad that you did throw that up here tho!

I've learned a lot from you & have been inspired to keep working on mine even when the wiring hell was happening over last winter.. Thanks for all that you have contributed to this board & always being around to answer those odd ball questions that i've had. I'll definatly miss seeing you around here all the time.

on a more positive note, congratz on your new purchase.. & your lucky that your so well liked or some mod would have tossed this to the basement

awesome josh, never thought you would end up selling the ferio, but you gotta move on. so why did you end up getting the auto IS? are you going to take it to the dealer to have it serviced or are you going to do some of the things yourself? i word of advice if you do decide to do oil changes yourself, make sure the engine is cold when you change the oil because the oil filter is right under the intake manifold and you can easliy burn the hell out of your arms trying to wrestle the filter out of that tightness. if you want to know what they do for the services at the dealer just PM me and ill let you know if they havent told you already. have fun with the car and god speed man

Congratulations on your new purchase. Must have bought it at a steal being a 2005.

I remember my 1st encounter with you. It's when you saw a pic of my car and made a comment about the wing I had. I never replied to your post even after clicking on the link in your sig. Saw the pics of your car and was like WTF " This guy is living in 1995." However , you finally woke up and created something that most of us can only dream of.

Once again , Congrats! Good for you that you were able to move on , unlike me where I have to wait awhile.

Makes me kinda sad about my civic. Its been so long since I drove it, I barely remember what its like (although I'm sure you do :loco: ). I just don't have time to work on it anymore and don't have the money to keep both cars insured. I would sell it if I could get any money for it, but even $3500 is probably pushing it because of its condition, and theres no way I'd have the time to part it out. So basically, its just a derelict lump rotting in the street outside my house.

Are you getting a pass this year? You can drive me snowboarding and neither of us will get carbon monoxide poisoning. h:

I intend to respond to the other posts, but it's late and David's is easy. h:

I got the CO pass this year so I'm totally set. I put the snowboard rack on my car today as a test fit and now I just need to go get some all-weather mats to complete the snowboarding bus. :chuckles:

I will probably be getting some winter tires too...
