2000 HONDA CIVIC Si,clean, lowered, custom, leather interior, MSD ignition, A/C, power everything, 64K, DOHC VTEC. i am trying to add modds to em later add some hp to with one u think is better also on with si or gsr i can install more mods on it to add some hp

This is tough, since both of these are AWESOME cars
.
On the one hand, the Civic Si has only 64k miles (advantage: Si), but then the GS-R has more power and torque (advantage: GS-R).
I personally prefer the more "rev-happy" nature of the Si's B16A2 engine; the torque peak of 150 N-m (111 lb-ft) does not occur until a stratospheric 7000 r/min! It loves to rev. But the GS-R will give you an extra 7 kW (10 bhp) of peak power. But what do you think of the modifications on both cars? Which is more appealing to you?
I feel for you, though. This is definitely going to be a tough

definately a hard one... whats the condition of the gsr? the honda sounds great, and condition wise, greater than the gsr. lol, but as stated, the gsr has more power, and power is always a great thing. but dont only think of the power. power can always be made. but in my opinion, i wouldnt like having to push power aside for body work...
just recently i had a nice lump of money that i was planin to put into the power category, but i decided to go with the body work instead, cuz i was starting to rust...
lol, sry if i'v complicated things even more, but just my $.02

I would say base your decision on dirveability, and condition...
the gsr would give more power, but if it's at the mechanic, it's no good to anyone, except the mechanic...
On the other hand, the civic already has body work, and some mods already taken care of...
if they're the same price, that's a dilly of a pickle...
If the si costs a little more, put the money up for it...it's already on the road to more power...

Insurance might end up killing you in the long run with the teg. They are THE most stolen car for 2004 and a couple of other years before that.... maybe even 2005... I don't know if they've done a survey for 05 or not...
But anyway. It's just a thought.
