Default Adjustable cam gear

I just got a OBX adjustable cam gear and it did not come with instructions. I did try to search alot on the web on some pointers on how to do the adjusting. Even on OBX's website they had no help. Will just leaving it at zero make a difference then using the stock one? Should I move it one line at a time? Should I advance it all the way to ten and then see how it runs? I have a 95 civic ex. Advice or a good website would be greatly appreciated.

adjusting stock cams wont benefit you any...just leave it at zero until you upgrade the cams and then get it dyno tuned

I have an auto mild-high modded sohc civic... i've advanced my stock cam 2 degress while running advanced timing... It gives a lil more torque and moves a lil more horsepower to where I need it, and allows me to reach higher speeds (100+mph) quicker, but then again it's an auto, so it might not be much use on a M/T. The extra power shown after changing to 89 octane, i was running 87 due to these high gas prices, perhaps even higher octane would yield more power. Also I've gotten better mileage, which is always a plus.

not quite true. however adjusting the cam gears on a stock car will not benefit you as greatly as it would if you were turbo or running different cams. We milked 7hp at the wheels on the dyno just by adjusting the cam gears on my turbo b18c.
