I have an auto mild-high modded sohc civic... i've advanced my stock cam 2 degress while running advanced timing... It gives a lil more torque and moves a lil more horsepower to where I need it, and allows me to reach higher speeds (100+mph) quicker, but then again it's an auto, so it might not be much use on a M/T. The extra power shown after changing to 89 octane, i was running 87 due to these high gas prices, perhaps even higher octane would yield more power. Also I've gotten better mileage, which is always a plus.
