If you want a nice sounding exhaust just get a tsudo n1 knock off, it's cheap and pretty much identical, it just doesn't have the Apexi name stamped on it so it's cheap. I've had mine through 2 winters in CT not one spot of rust on it, it's nice and low.

I have it in my 98 civic hatch....its pretty loud even when im in 5th gear. Was running it using a straight pipe with no catalytic before and was even louder! Now its a lil toned down.

I have the Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust on my 98 civic ex coupe. I can honestly say that it is pretty loud, tho the sound is really nice. It's a very low low grumble...which is what I am going for. I find that it is the loudest around 3-4 rpm. The exhaust comes with a removable silencer; with the silencer in the exhaust is very quiet...in fact I don't think any noise comes out of it at all, except for the noise of the silencer pipe rattling alittle bit. Overall, I run daily with with silencer in, because I just don't want to be blazing around town all the time....but here and there i'll take the silencer out and just blare around town. Hope this helps. (Oh yea, the exhaust looks very nice!)

I've got a Tanabe Hyper Medallion and I like it a lot. The sound is low and quiet but will get decently loud once the rpm's go up. I think it's a good combination for city driving and zipping around when you need it. It won't attract attention when you don't want it to and doesn't sound ricey.

Have had Tanabe cat-back w/ Jackson Racing Cat, & DC 4:2:1 hdr,for 3 yrs...Sounds bad ass!!! Deep rumble W/ silencer removed, love it...People say "Sounded like a damn racecar com'n" Highly recmnd.it Cops will not like you though.. Have gotten 3 warnings..all in different towns , still drive there & see the same cops, but they havn't done anything since. Guess just jellous!!!!

I've heard the Apex'i World Sport 2 is really nice for deep sound that's not deafening.
