If people and sponsors are going to take you seriously then you better start brushing up on your grammar and presentation skills. The first thing I see when I see you now is how you spell and your grammar. ICK! Right there it will be hard for you to even get started down the road of sponsorships and proposals.

Next you have to have some kind of history in what you do. Not just some plain Jane stuff like the local Pep Boys car shows. Trophies help, but I got 5 sponsors before I started doing well in autocrossing. It's the people skills and presentation is what sponsors are looking for. What can you do for the company? Why should they sponsor you? What kind of kick backs are the sponsors going to get for helping you out?

Too many people think their sponsors should give them free stuff. Where it's actually what hard work and time can you put back into your sponsors?

How is a sponsor going to take you seriously if you cannot spell and punctuate??

Most companies require some sort of write up proposal and resume. And yes you have to write it/type it.

omg, my buddy got raped by those guys. we all told him it was a dumb idea, but he had his heart set on "getting tight w/ sponsors for some hard to find parts". cost him like $200 or something, and he never did hear from 'em...

Shoot i did that thing and its all BS. I paid for it or what ever and they sent me the papers and i never even bothered with it ... its a waste of time. I figured I'd rather waste the money i had already then sign a contract and get F'd ... I say stay away from crap like that. I was at walmart the other day and there was a yellow Focus hatch and it had those stickers on it... the car was completely factory. I would personally be embarissed if i had them as a "sponsor". I'm glad i didnt do it.

I did it too for the heck of it. Now I wonder how many other people did it for the heck of it. I specifically told them that I race so I don't want rice parts. THey sent me a sponsorship for stereo system, decals, and some other crap.
