Hello all! This is my first post in this forum. I usually hang out at HondaSUV.com for my CR-V. My other car is a silver 2000 Acura 1.6 EL. The other day I was washing it and I noticed this little red speck about .75 mm in diameter. I tried rubbing it off with my fingernail, but no luck. Upon closer inspection, under a 10x magnifying glass, It looks like the paint is stained red a little around this tiny speck. There is no ding or chip or scratch in this spot. It looks like it's right in the paint. Is this rust??? My car is only 5 years old!

 

post a pic to be sure. the paint shouldn't be rusting that way. maybe, if there was a chip, and metal was exposed. but post a pic so we can see for sure.
