Default K20 in 95 EX

Im wondering how hard it is to put the K20 Type S/R engine into a 1995 Civic EX. If anyone knows of a shop in SC, FL, NC, etc that has done the swap, id like to know

depends on how you see it.

K20's can be had for 5-6k and as easy as Hasport motor mounts. You will be a 12 second car with a stock motor. You'll need to spend around 5-6K on a B-series to get it into 12's.

I beleive Charles Madrid did a 13.2 in an EK chassis (96-00) on street tires untuned. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=236020&page=1

With the EG chassis that is lighter than the EK, it is definately possible and probably been done before.

I'm gonna wait till the future becomes the present and prices go down a bit.

I got my A2 for $3450 (that's the motor and trans). Needed parts for the install will run approximately 3 to 4k more.

The swap is pretty straight forward if you have the time and tools.
