Default Smoke From Exahust?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has ideas on oil smoke comming out of my exahust when i stomp on the gas in first gear? bran new motor b18b , 1 guy told me it could be the oil i put in is to thin, i had 10-30 in it... i added an additive to make it thicker... still smoking though... real tired ill try to add more info tomorrow just hoping i could get some feedback with little info as i remember right now =) any help would be great

Could be that your motor is running too rich...just my .02. Unlikely on a stock motor though. You could try a little seafoam.

Check your timing and other ignition components (dizzy, rotor, wires). Uncomplete combustion leaves extra O2 which the O2 sensor sees and tells the computer to let out more gas making you run even richer yet.

well, a bad O2 may cause the ECU to think the motor is running lean, in which case it would dump too muc hfuel into the motor. first think u need to tell us is what color the smoke is. your description is just too vauge.

whats your setup & whats the background on this motor?

10/30 is just fine in there.. u shouldn't have any problem with that.

also, has the motor had a compression test?
