Default To the almighty know it alls here at honda-acura

I recently ask some of u guys to help me with my vtec air fuel converter and all u dildo's (besides a few sorry) are worried about is if jdm comes like this or that. So let me set u fuckers straight. I do have a fuckin jdm b16a2 jdm motor in a american del-sol. A2 is not written on the engine because it's just not in japan. But they do make a generation 2 b16 in japan, cause i got one. U DUMBFUCKS (to the other few). I'm sorry to be such a dick (i cant help it) But if anyone knows anything about the damn little pos controller please let me know.

With that attitude, I hope no one answers your question.
Yes, they were wrong to say there is no 2nd gen (acually 3rd if its obd1, 4 if its obd2) b16...but thats no reason to act like a prick. h:

the way you are conducting yourself on this board is something that will not be accepted kindly by the posters here. I read your post and frankly your posts are not as clear as they could be. If you feel that you are not getting the answers you want, why are you posting this again? If you slow down and read what you posted, it would make sense to why others could not give you a clear answer.

to sum up what they said, this controller is not something that can be tuned correctly without the proper equipement. if this is a stock motor(JDM or not), you will have minimal gains. if you motor is modified, you need a dyno to correctly set the information you would like to adjust. there is not a predifined set of parameters for you setup. to answer your original post clearly - you need to take your car to a dyno in order to correctly set it. now if you would respond with kind words, you may be helped accordingly, but if you choose to conduct yourself in the manner you did in the above post, please leave this site.

1. B16A2 = USDM 99-00 Si

2. A "JDM" B16A second generation found in 96-00 SiR's and SiRII's were all stamped B16A. The only way you can tell it is a 2nd gen is the extra OBD2 sensors/equip.

3. VTEC controllers will do you NOTHING on a factory motor japan spec or not. If you want to set the VAFC or VTEC controller to give you the best power gains, take it to a chassis dyno and have them tune the extra 2-3 WHP gains there. Nothing worth paying extra money for unless you have upgraded your cams or have done internal work to your motor.

4. Have a nice day.
