Default supercharge a 01 civic????

I got a 01 civic with a flowmaster exhaust is it worth it to supercharge it or is it better to get a turbo
any help is appreciated

u bought a economy car sucks for u!!! stay away from fi on that motor its not ment fo it nor can it handle it....

There is no hopes for a supercharger anytime soon, unless it's a custom job. As for a turbo, there are several people who have gone the custome route, but be prepared to spend major bucks. HKS has a turbo kit in the works and looks most promising. By the looks of it you don't have the budget to go either route. So I would just forget about doing anything to a brand new engine risking the chances of ruining it. Start building the car up, suspenions, brakes, wheels, tires, etc... until a more practcal approach to real power is available.

so is the Jackson Racing Supercharger not available for the newer Civics? I know I can get one tailored specifically for my 97...

Flowmaster on a Civic???? Never heard of that before. How does it sound? Is it really loud, as flowmasters typically are??
