I can't believe you just said what you said....you drive a DX hatch, i think you are probably the king of econo cars...Just cause he has a 7th gen and you have a 6th with wannabe jdm mods that will hopefully make your car into a CTR even though it will never truly be does not give you the right laugh and say that he has an econocar.

STOP THE HATE...who cares?

To date there is NO supercharger for the 7th gen. A few turbo kits are being produced soon. In this situation, it looks like turbo is your only bet.

OR...you can find a wrecked RSX Type S and swap that sonofbish in there (it fits)

well. this dude spend 8 grand to swap in an RSX motor... he kinda got a deal cuz he agreed on a price with the shop.. and the shop went through with the labor fee of 2 grand, while at the end it cost the shop more...

but HAsports what not is coming out with a motor mount kit... so that should ease the installation cost and overall cost of swapping in a K20.. they too have a 7th gen civic with a type s engine in it..

in either case total cost can still run near 10 grand.. and its way more practical to trade in the car for an actual RSX then...

custom turbo is probably best bet if you want real power immediately... but it will cost too... and it will probably help the boost levels if you have a lower compression engine, a D17A1 (DX/LX)

personally you should just do what mike said. work on the other things...

I'm adding to the suspension a bit, and hopefully a full coilover kit or konis to change the comfort of the ride... because I think the stock rear shocks are horrible.

if you want fast HP... just add nitrous, its cheap its easy and its noticable..... but im gonna agree with mike, build the other sheit first then start to spend money under the hood... and dont worry k series swap will come down in price over the next couple of years, its just a new thing right now
