Default Engine Temp question

I have been noticing lately that my car overheats while sitting at idle, anyone else have this problem, or is it normal while idling in high tempertures. Also, My car is a 97 civic ex, and normally the temp guage sits about half way up, and the coolant sensor shows about 200-202. are these normal ranges if anyone knows. Thanks guys.

u might want to check & make sure that your radiator fan is operating properly & have you ever had a coolant flush?

the temp gauge should sit about dead center or just below. It's your idle temp that you should be concerned about right now, it should be able to maintain that temp while sitting still & not rise.

Also change out your thermostat along with the rubber gasket that goes with it. Did you burp out all the air from the system after flushing? Your temp sensor maybe measuring hot air instead of coolant.
