ok, i was just checking, i have the tanabe super racing medallion and it is very low pitched and vibrates stuff alot, i think that is why it came loose. and about the shifter getting hot, mine already does that because i have a dc short shifter with a metal sparco knob, so it gets pretty hot at times, hopefully it wont get to much warmer after i take the heat shield off off. but anyway, thanx for the info.
