Default 92 lx to vtec swap

I've searched around, but it was hard because when I type '92 lx' into the search, it says it excludes both of those terms because they are not long enough, but from what I have dug up, the 92 lx civics are prewired for vtec. I am purchasing a 92 lx sedan soon and would like to swap a d16z6 into it, and would like to know where i can find the steps or if someone could give me the steps for how to find the prerun vtec wires. Thanks.

I thought only the VX had the pre run wires. Oh well. I'm probably wrong. Anyway go to the resources sticky there a whole guide for vtec wires in there.

Yes, the 92's had the pre-wiring for vtec. You will have to make sure you get the engine harness when you get the engine to plug it in together.

Here are some sites that may help:

92's are wired up for VTEC.

depending on motor, you just need to add knock or IAB (GSR)
