Default Roll Cage questions

I was wondering if anybody knows any good roll cages for an EG civic. Im thinking of putting one in mine. I was think Could i use a Bolt in one, or should i go with a weld in one. If anybody has any insight into this it would be great to know, Pleas post pics or links if u have any. thnx

S&W race cars makes roll bars and cages. they come unassembled and are weld-in i believe. good n cheap. they are in PA.

Why would you want to put a cage in your car? It's unsafe for daily driving.

well, it's not really unsafe if you pad everything x5.

except in an accident without a helmet.

Rollcages are kinda designed around the theory that youll be wearing a helmet if you crash.

Im gonna to building up my GSR and want to start tracking the car maybe. if anything i would do a half cage so when i put in racing seats i will have a place to put my harnesses.

It's unsafe whether it's padded or not on the street. But like you said "In theory if you have a roll bar/cage you should be wearing a helmet" cause your head will be bouncing around hitting the cage WITHOUT a helmet.
