i won a bid sent the money and haent heard anything in a week and a half and he wont contact me is there anything i can do being that it is on ebay?

Yes, you can file a complaint with eBay SafeHarbor. I had to do it once, you get reimbursed the auction ending price, minus a $25 deductible. It doesn't cover shipping, either, but at least I got some of my money back. The other thing you can do is file a complaint for mail fraud with the USPS. Just go to www.usps.com. Good luck, I hate deadbeats.

 

I wonder if the guy thought he'd actually get away with it. How much was it anyways?

 

the seller now suspended and i sent him a certified check from my bank...and to submit a ebay claim u have to of paid through ebay...and it was for 900$ !!!!!!!

call your bank, stop the check... i think you can stop the check for a $25-30 fee usually. DO IT NOW, there isnt much time!!!

he cashed the check last wed...im on the phone with my bank already...whats wierd is that he kept good contact with me...he had good feedback...on fri he told me he was going to ship out yesterday on tues...and i hadnt heard anything back from the guy up till now and i look at his profile on ebay and hes now suspended i dont know what happend...but i feel im being screwed...i have the doods name..bank were it was cashed..and his home phone # his dad always pics up when i call...how should i handle this...
