Default camber kit

hey another question for you guys im doing a lot of mods to my car right now so that’s why im posting a lot of threads I just bought some new struts KYB AGX Adjustables and some 17 s on 205/40s that I havent put on yet(I know I should have went with 16s but I wasn’t thinking ) and I already have the car lowered an inch or so by the eibach pro kit. Do you think there is going to be a big camber and if so, what company makes a good camber kit that isn’t to difficult to put on and that works well? i would like to put it all together at the same time. thanks

Replacing the struts will not create or remove any camber that wasn't there before. The struts don't change the ride height, so if the camber was fine before the struts, it will be afterwards.

I would still take it to an alignment shop afterwards since you are changing the wheel size for a toe alignment. If they say you need camber kits because the camber is out of spec, then you will need to pick up a camber kit. Omnipower makes a good one for the front and Ingalls makes a good one for the back.

Washers and longer bolts = all the rear camber kit you need, just shim it out a little, and that should be all you need.
Omnipower front camber kit is good, I have the kit, but you only need a front kit if you lower your car more than 1"...

... I didnt really get what you said about the speed thing... But yes, all you need is longer bolts and washers to shim out the control arm to correct your camber.

The bolts you need are: Highest grade 10 x 1.25 45mm , and about 3 washers per bolt. So you need 4 bolts and 12 washers that fit properly on the bolts. You can shim out the rear with the bolts you have, but I would just spend 3$'s and get longer bolts so you dont have to worry about how much thread is actualy holding the arm in place, because when you shim it out using the washers, you have less bolt to thread into the hole. And you dont want them to snap when you hit a bump on the freeway doing 60mph ...

Yes, it will be slower with the larger rims. Your speedometer will also be off by a few MPH.

i found an interesting quirk w/ my car. my 15" merican racing wheels threw mine off by 2-3 mph. my speedo reads 35 when i'm going 32 (i noticed by a portable police speed thingy on side of the road)
