Default new setup

my car is pretty beat right now, thats why im replacing the clutch, trans, and axles.

ACT clutch (HDSS) $337
trans for $50
halfshafts for $160

i cant wait, my trans grinds really bad, its louder than my exhaust. do you think i should get a lightweight flywheel??

I'm going to assume here that you're talking d-series (because of the $50 transmission). Really its up to you whether you want a lighter flywheel... the benefit being your motor will rev faster, the detriment being it'll be a little harder to launch cleanly.

I'd probably just resurface the stock flywheel, were I in your shoes. Cost, being the main factor.

:edit: And if you're ever going to swap down the road, you should spend as little on the current motor as necessary h:

Reading sig Ownes u people!

he's got a D16z6

should be a nice upgrade bro, make sure that the tranny that you are replacing the current one with is also off of a vtec d-series tho. just a lil FYI, if not your gearing won't work well with the rpm's in vtec range.
