I'm going to assume here that you're talking d-series (because of the $50 transmission). Really its up to you whether you want a lighter flywheel... the benefit being your motor will rev faster, the detriment being it'll be a little harder to launch cleanly.
I'd probably just resurface the stock flywheel, were I in your shoes. Cost, being the main factor.
:edit: And if you're ever going to swap down the road, you should spend as little on the current motor as necessary
